Diamond Realty’s new challenge in managing a US REIT

Nozomu Takeshita has spent more than 15 years in both real estate and private equity investment at Mitsubishi Corporation. Currently he led Strategic Investment Department with a primary focus on US equity and debt markets through Diamond Realty Management (DREAM). and had a key role in managing U.S. focused real estate funds and growing DREAM’s assets under management in U.S. to more than U.S. $1 billion.

Before joining DREAM, he engaged in multiple investments as the Director of Japan Industrial Solutions, a PE fund.  Prior to that, he was based in Hong Kong and led MC Creat Investment (a joint venture PE fund of Mitsubishi Corporation and Chinese Investment Company) as Managing Director.  Earlier in his career, he was acquisition manager of Mitsubishi Corporation UBS Realty Inc. and responsible for investments in industrial assets. He holds a ME from Tokyo Institute of Technology and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
