APREA Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Roundtable

With climate change and environmental regulation being hot button topics for regulators and investors world- wide, the APREA ESG Roundtable was established to track the latest developments in this fast-evolving space and keep members abreast of current best practices. A proliferation of standards, both voluntary and mandatory, across Asia has also led to a role for the group in alignment of standards across borders and jurisdictions.

Sustainability Guideline and Benchmarks

  • Reviewing the scope of the evolving ESG concept and its relevance to Asia

  • Reviewing various ESG Reporting Frameworks used by investors across the Asia Pacific region through which standardized ESG reporting met- rics and an ‘entry level’ ESG reporting template can be developed

Sustainable Investing

  • Collaborating with APREA members as well as leading academic and research partners on providing thought leadership on sustainable investing
